CONSULTING
The FACES Framework
Dr. Olatunji will gladly partner with your organization as a consultant to help you implement his unique and creative FACES framework. Discussed in detail in the second half of his book, "the five features of FACES" (Fun, Affirmation, Challenge, Expression, Success), can be integrated into virtually any educational program.
FACES is Dr. Olatunji's signature program for developing positive learning environments (cultures and climates) that promote the emotional well-being, engagement as well as academic success you desire for your students.
What is FACES?
Created by Dr. Olatunji, the FACES framework is evidence-based and offers educators a practical approach to improving student outcomes by addressing the emotional as well as academic needs of youth. FACES consists of five elements or features:
F UN
A FFIRMATION
C HALLENGE
E XPRESSION
S UCCESS
While each feature alone may increase student engagement significantly, when combined their effects multiply. Just as a magnifying glass sparks a fire by bending the sun’s rays toward a single focal point, FACES ignites motivation through the synergy of these five features. Consequently, students are able to see and feel themselves at the center of the learning process. And, as a result, their performance soars!
Dr. Olatunji provides an overview of the framework in his keynotes and workshops. These presentations inspire educators and raise their awareness about the need for students to experience emotional fulfillment in education. To implement the framework so that it transforms school culture and climate, one to three years of professional development involving educators at every level is recommended.
